3. How to Choose a Good Dog Boarding Kennel

A Day in the Life at Mississippi Ridge Kennel

Pets relax more easily when they know what to expect. We follow a consistent, gentle routine that balances activity and rest.

6:30-8:00 AM — Morning potty breaks and breakfast

9:00 AM-12:00 PM — Outdoor time, enrichment, and activities

12:00-2:00 PM — Quiet rest time with soft music

2:00-3:00 PM — one-on-one attention, gentle play, or enrichment

3:00-5:00 PM — Dinner and evening potty breaks

7:00-9:00 PM — Final let-outs, tuck-in, and nighttime checks

We can adjust routines for puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs!

Our Office Hours

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Sunday: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

To keep all of our guests healthy and safe, we require basic vaccinations and ask owners to provide accurate health information

What To Bring

Your pet’s regular food (or house food for $2.00/day)
Any medication with clear instructions
Optional: bed, blanket, or favorite toys
Bring anything you might think will keep them comfortable while they stay with us!

We provide bowls, bedding, litter and lots of love!
